4th & Vine Tower, Cincinnati, Ohio, SUA

The 4th & Vine Tower (formerly known as the Central Trust Bank Building) is a 495 foot (151 meter) tall building in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. It stands 31 stories tall, overlooking the Ohio River waterfront. It is considered one of the most recognizable buildings making up the city's skyline. Few PNC Bank employees now work in the 4th & Vine Tower today, most report to the newer PNC Center. PNC Bank has the signage rights to the building, but that is not the official name. It is officially the 4th & Vine Tower.

Cristo-Rei, Lisbon, Portugal

Cristo-Rei was inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and inaugurated on May 17, 1959. At that time Portugal was being ruled by the President of the Council António de Oliveira Salazar, and it was on his orders that the Cristo-Rei was built. The base of the monument, by architect António Lino, is in the form of a gate, standing 75 m (246 ft) tall. At the top is a statue of Christ the Redeemer, designed by sculptor Francisco Franco de Sousa, 28 m (92 ft)-tall. At the base of the statue is an observation deck (altitude: 184 m / 604 ft) providing panoramic views of the city of Lisbon, the Tagus river (in portuguese: Rio Tejo) and of the 25 de Abril Bridge (in portuguese: Ponte 25 de Abril). It is located on the left riverbank.

The sculpture was modelled by Peter Olsen, Brighton-le-Sands, Sydney, Australia.

En: Gara de Nord Bucureşti (North Station in English) is the main railway station in Bucharest and the largest railway station in Romania. The vast majority of mainline trains to/from Bucharest originate from Gara de Nord. It was initially named Gara Târgoviştei, after the road nearby, Calea Târgoviştei ("Târgovişte Road", nowadays Calea Griviţei). The first railways between Roman - Galaţi - Bucharest - Piteşti were built in 1872. The station and its surroundings were heavily bombed by the Allies in April 1944 during a campaign aimed at the German supply lines, since the station played an important part in the Romanian railway network and was the main departure point for troops headed to the Eastern Front.

Hotel Cosmos, Moscow, Russia

Situated in the northern part of Moscow, the enormous 25-storey (99 m) Cosmos Hotel looms impressively next to VDNKh Metro Station and the Soviet Space Obelisk monument. French-built in 1979, the hotel is rather dated now and interiors, although reasonably comfortable, might seem somewhat worn out. However, most rooms come with standard amenities and the service, while hardly faultless, is adequate.
